Your post is so glaringly offensive that I wonder you can say this stuff with a straight face. Personally if you come here for those purposes I think you can go right back to whatever AAA statist propaganda you're used to playing and leave us alone. To rephrase: “if you’re not on board with the leftist ideology or perhaps you experience discomfort about the bragging around how non-leftists are hated and abused by community members, then let me reinforce that perception by reminding you that all non-leftists are unmitigated ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and only absorbed in hateful behavior.”Ĭome on, do you have to ruin an otherwise useful post with this garbage? Not everyone who isn’t an enlightened social leftist is a neo-nazi. It shouldn't be a problem if you want to play the game, but if it is an issue for you then just know the mods won't tolerate race-baiting, trolling or whatever q-anon/loli degeneracy that edgy online conservatives are using to disrupt and attack communities these days. Forget about quests and go murder things, or become a peaceful trader amassing wealth. Do the main quest line, the side quests or the procedural quests for fun. Usually bugs crop up in the form of unintended interactions, exploits or unfinished content. It's unlikely those bugs will be severe enough to require console commands or cause savegame losses. Yes the devs are "liberals" or "progressives" or whatever you want to call them. Like nethack there are also guaranteed drops you can go straight for if you want certain things. Very little of the procedural stuff is locked in on worldgen, so if you can't find something you can generally go elsewhere in the world to get it. Most pre-built stuff has procedural counterparts for you to tinker with. Some of the pre-built quests have procedural elements. There's procedurally generated books you can read. MUCH of the game is procedurally generated. The steam's selection of Guides might be a little outdated but they're good. I'm not talking about Rogue Legacy type roguelites, I mean permadeath, and you will die. If you haven't played any roguelike then the learning curve is very steep. If you've played other roguelikes then the learning curve is just "kinda steep". I assume that might change in the future. I think the devs generally favor content, bugfixing and story over balance for now. Yes, the game is as complex and absurd as described in the vid. You might be able to play with the alternate input set mapped to 987oiulkj keys, but I've always hated this as you'll need those keys for other things as well, and remembering all the controls crammed into a smaller number of keys is a pain. Hi all, just saw the video and I'd like to say that I've been playing this game for some time and would like to go over some things from the video.įirst of all, he does't say anything in the video about input but you're going to want a 10-key or comfortable D-pad that will give you orthogonal and diagonal movement.
